Clean Bachelorette Party Cake
Clean bachelorette party cakes are more common than not. Not every woman wants the "friendly member" to be the centerpiece of HER party! A frequent alternative to the naughty bachelorette party cakes are lingerie cakes. With a little time and creativity you can bake a beautiful homemade lingerie cake that will empress the entire party.
1. Baking the Cake - Bake your cake in a regular cake sheet pan and 2 round small or large metal bowls (used for the boobs; sizes of bowls depends on how large you want your boobs to be).
2. Let you cake cool and start thinking of how you want your bachelorette cake to be set up. Get an idea of where you want to position the 2 small cakes as your boobs.
3. Once the cake has cooled, position the 2 smaller cakes in place using icing to make them stick better to the bottom layer of your cake.
4. Start carving the sides of your torso to give it a womanly figure. Start at the shoulders and work your way down. Make sure you carve the bottom to resemble how lingerie curves around the legs.
5. Ice the entire cake. (Butter cream usually works the best)
6. Apply a flesh colored fondant to the chest area only.
7. Apply a thick strip of your desired color fondant to cover the breasts. This will make the top of the "bra" area for the desired piece of lingerie you are going for. Remember to leave the top portion of the boobs exposed to give her a little cleavage.
8. Use butter cream in whatever color you choose to ice the rest of your lingerie cake.
9. Use white icing to create a lace look to the edges of you bachelorette party cake. This will work to hide any imperfections and create a more chic feel.
10. If you are a more creative person, use homemade fondant for the entire cake.
